While still a student, Sebastian Herkner was already designing work that merged various cultural contexts, combining new technologies with traditional craftsmanship to highlight the multifaceted beauty of the materials and draw renewed attention to small details. With his MBrace for DEDON, Sebastian is the first designer to mix teak and fiber in a single piece. Still under 35, he is the recipient of a long list of design awards.
